The nature versus nurture debate can go in circles forever.
Is he an anxious child? Or did the transition to his new school cause his anxiety?
Does she have a temper? Or was there an adult in her life who was a bad role model?
Nothing’s wrong with your child… But he still needs help.
Do I really have to slap a label onto this poor kid just to get her the help she needs?, you wonder.
And the answer is, with CFTSS (a Medicaid program for children with behavioral/emotional challenges), you don’t!
Eligibility is determined based on symptoms and/or circumstances; no need for a diagnosis in order to benefit.
And the coolest part – family members of the client get serviced as well!
Read on to see if CFTSS can make a difference in the lives of your child, your family, and yourself.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY TREATMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Nechama, a spunky, hilarious 9-year-old with special needs, had been through four dentists in just a few months – and had managed to traumatize each and every one of them with her quick hands and sharp teeth. Worst of all, she desperately needed dental care and had still not been treated. At a loss, her mother called Ezreinu, and she was referred to a kind, patient dentist who could provide the treatment which Nechama so desperately needed.🔴
Yitta, a young adult with several chronic conditions, developed painful side effects as a result of a surgery and was having a hard time functioning day-to-day. Ezreinu connected her mother with organizations who could provide practical support, and with a parent match who could mentor and give her the emotional support she needed.🔴
The Ganzfrieds generally were able to manage, even with their mischievous, special needs 5-year-old, Leizer, around. Things came to a head when Leizer landed unexpectedly in the hospital. With their other children home and Leizer in constant need of stimulation in his hospital room – not to mention the trouble he could make there if no one was watching him – the Ganzfrieds suddenly had to learn how to be in two places at once. After a few exhausting weeks of running back and forth to be with Leizer and no chance to sleep between shifts, they simply needed a break. Ezreinu sent a Holding Hands volunteer to relieve the parent on duty, and the family was finally able to rest up and renew their energy for the day ahead. 🔴
