Mordechai is a pleasant older guy with high functioning Autism. His devoted sister with whom he lives was going away with her family for Shabbos, but Mordechai was not included in the invitation. At a loss, his sister called Ezreinu, and Mordechai was placed with a warm, loving family for Shabbos.
Mrs. Friedler had finally landed a great full-time job which would cover the rent for her strapped Kollel family, but she could not seem to find a babysitter for her 1-year-old with medical needs. Her baby had been accepted into a program which was opening in a few months’ time, but she had no arrangements for him until then. Ezreinu connected her with an experienced woman who was available to babysit privately, and Mrs. Friedler was able to go to work with peace of mind.
Eliyahu, a spunky teenager with a physical disability, was attending sleepaway camp for the first time. The camp was doing their best to accommodate his needs, but they were at a loss for how to take him along on trips. Eliyahu’s bulky wheelchair could not fit on the school buses they used, but they didn’t want him to miss out because of his disability. Ezreinu provided them with contact information for multiple accessible van services so that Eliyahu could fully enjoy his summer.
